1. Is coaching for me?

Are you feeling disillusioned and unfulfilled with what your life and career have to offer? Are you fed up with doing what you think you "should" do? Are you looking for something different but don't know what that "something" is? Do you want to make changes and move forward in your life but don't know how?

Coaching could be for you.

Coaching requires commitment from you to allow yourself to dream, rediscover what life you want to lead, share your thoughts and feelings, reflect on what stops you moving forward, take responsibility and take action. During the coaching process you will be required to step out of your comfort zone, explore new ideas and challenge yourself. If you are not willing to do this coaching is probably not for you.

2. How does it work?

Coaching is future-orientated. It is not about delving into yoru past. It looks at where you are now and where you want to be, and what action you are willing to take to move you towards your goals. It is about making your goals and dreams a realilty.

Your coach will not present you with an all singing all dancing plan of how to lead a more fulfilling life. Your coach is trained to listen objectively and ask thought provoking questions. Your coach may offer suggestions but will not provide all the answers. Coaching is empowering.

Your coach will help you find your own answers and create your own solutions. Your coach will support you throughout, challenge you and motivate you to ensure that you continue to move towards your goals.

All sessions and work with clients are completely confidential. Honesty and openess is an important part of the coaching process and is essential in clarifying where you are now and where you want to be in the future.

Coaching sessions can take place face-to-face in Edinburgh or over the phone, depending on your preference and location. Both methods are equally effective.

Sessions typically last approximately 60 minutes and take place fortnightly. white zebra offers free email support between sessions.
